Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Be a Dominican citizen, of Dominican descent, or have a demonstrable connection to the Dominican community.
- Be between 18 and 30 years of age.
- Reside in Illinois or in one of the states under the jurisdiction of the Consulate General of the Dominican Republic in Chicago: Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, or Wisconsin.
- Be currently enrolled in university, technical, or higher education studies, or have recently completed a degree or academic program.
- Possess strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
- Demonstrate responsibility, punctuality, institutional commitment, discretion, and ethical conduct.
- Be willing to comply with the Consulate's internal policies, including confidentiality, data protection, and respectful treatment of the public.
